School Project

My mom has assigned me a school project... here are some pictures.

This is how the project started out...a pile of fabric and trimings!

Then, it got cut into little pieces.

Slowly, we started putting together blocks.

The center block.

Mom designed this block.

Mom and I decided I would tie the quilt instead of hand quilting it. She wants it done in the next few weeks instead of in a few years!

This is most of the quilt top but it gives you the general idea of what it looks like.

And, last of all, mom took a few pictures of me working. Not the best picture of me but it's better than others!

I'll post a complete picture of the quilt after I finish the binding.

It looks wonderful! Maybe you could come out here for like a month and teach me a thing or two. =)

Are you paying for the plane ticket??? Or maybe you could convince Dad to bring me out on one of his trips and come get me on another trip!!! Or we could just keep dreaming. :)

It was worth a try. :)

BTW...we all miss you too. =)

If Tim can keep up with his blogging and reviews, we'll be able to buy some plane tickets in a little while. =D
